My name is Micah Terhaar & I love 3 things.
Sports, design, & sports design
My passion for these three things started at a very young age without me realizing it. i became & continue to be a collector of all things sports. baseball cards, pocket schedules, stickers, jerseys, programs, scorecards, newspaper clippings, posters, magazines, & bobbleheads filled the shelves of my bedroom. Deep down I knew I wanted to make them myself. It started with creating my own baseball card sets on Microsoft Publisher & has grown into a career in the sports design field. Yet the dream of designing professional sports brands from the ground up, implementing these brands into the largest sports cities in the world, & creating fandom that will make memories for those who attach themselves to those brands just as I did, lives on.
In my design journey i have come to appreciate brand design as a whole. I am fascinated by the way in which a company can represent themselves & their values in a single mark. Logos are the foundation of a business' visual identity, & i love the challenge of tailoring the perfect one for you.
